Cast-in-place piles installed utilizing a hollow stem continuous flight auger (CFA). High slump grout is pumped through the hollow stem auger while drilling and steel reinforcing is typically installed after grout placement. Augercast piles can be installed in lieu of drilled shafts for soils that would typically require casing or slurry.
