Part of the road on the side of a hill was starting to become a slope failure.
Identify and implement a solution to stabilize the hillside and prevent future failures in the surrounding area.
Russo mobilized to the site and Drilled a 30-inch Shaft, into which Channel Beams were installed and secured with flowable fill. Once the fill had properly cured, we excavated the wall face in 4-foot lifts and installed Hardwood Lagging between the Beams. Vertical Tiebacks were then installed through the Channel Beams to provide additional stability. To complete the system, Russo applied a rough shotcrete layer to the wall face for added structural support and protection.
