Russo mobilized a low-headroom drill to install 30-inch diameter shafts. H-Pile Beams were set in place and the shafts were backfilled with flowable fill to the specified elevation. Once the fill had cured, excavation proceeded in 4-foot lifts, with 3-inch Hardwood Lagging installed between the Piles for effective earth retention.
